I’m a totally type-A college senior about to graduate with a degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation… and there are two things you can expect to learn from me here:
1. How to live a more organized + productive life (like I said, I’m super type-A and I’ll teach you all the hacks!!)
2. How to make your writing more skillful and compelling 
Whether you’re a student or a young professional (or a bit of both), I’ve got you covered here!
If you were interviewing me for a job and you asked me, “Tell me about yourself,” here’s what I’d say:
- I’ve worked as a copywriter, editor, and social media marketer for the last 5+ years
- I’m a creative writer and spoken word artist, and I’ve run several writing workshops as well as written and performed spoken word poems for different NGOs
- I used to be a competitive slam poet!
- I have a project management micro-credential (which has helped make my type-A self even MORE organized hahaha)
Think of me as your go-to resource for help with writing & organization, no matter what your relationship is with those two aspects of life.

- One of my favorite hobbies is creating Spotify playlists for any and every occasion
- I know it’s basic, but I could watch Gilmore Girls 1000x and still not be tired of it (and before you ask, team Jess.)
- I won’t be rude if it’s your style, but personally I dislike rooms that are made up of 99% neutrals. I love color in decor and I even have red couches!!
- I’m a marriedddd woman! Started dating my husband at 18, got married at 22 and have never looked back
- My goal is to be trilingual! I’m proficient in French and starting to learn the Ethiopian language Amharic (because my husband is from Ethiopia)
- I used to play rep hockey, and then I became a competitive speed skater for a couple years!
- I’m a huge fan of retail therapy but I do it a lot without actually purchasing anything haha. I’ll spend hours in HomeSense and walk out empty-handed and feel fantastic about not wasting money
- I’d much prefer to write an essay than write an exam
- My dream is to live abroad, at least for a little while
- I’m verrrry type A… Like, the type that invites friends over for dinner and then sends a customized sign-up sheet to let me know who’s coming
